Digitizing and Automating Your Business
The same customer detail gets typed into WhatsApp, then a spreadsheet, then the invoicing system, and an enquiry still slips through the gap. Somewhere there is also a system the business paid for and stopped using. The market answers all of this with tools, because nearly everyone teaching automation also sells the implementation behind it. This lecture keeps the decision in front of the purchase: which process is actually costing you, what fixing it is worth in hours, what you can set up yourself, and where technology is the wrong answer to a process problem.
The content is matched in advance to your audience and goals on a short fitting call.

What your audience takes away
- ▸Pick the process worth automating first, before buying anything.
- ▸Estimate the hours a change gives back before spending money.
- ▸Separate what you can set up from what needs a developer.
- ▸Revive a system the business bought and then abandoned.
- ▸Decide what customer data is safe to put into AI tools.
Who this lecture is for
Suited to owner audiences and small teams, not to IT departments. Municipal business departments and small business support centres running owner evenings fit, along with chambers of commerce and industry associations, and accounting and bookkeeping firms whose clients are precisely this audience. Franchise headquarters use it when standardising processes across branches, as do family businesses in generational transition where the younger generation is pushing digitisation, and mid size companies wanting a vendor neutral view for their team leads.

Frequently asked questions
Are you vendor neutral, or do you also sell the systems you recommend?
Neutral. Alex Slutsker is a business consultant with nothing to implement and no reseller arrangement behind any recommendation, which is why the answer is sometimes to buy nothing at all. Almost every automation page an owner reads was written by someone who profits from the purchase.
Is this an AI content session, or does it cover the back office?
The back office. Quotes, invoicing, reminders, scheduling and the handoffs between people are where a small business bleeds hours, while most AI workshops on the market teach how to produce marketing posts faster.
Our staff think automation means job cuts and quietly resist anything new. Can that be addressed in the room?
It has to be, because a process nobody follows is not automated. Resistance is rational when nobody has said what changes and what does not, and that conversation belongs to the owner rather than to a consultant who leaves afterwards.
What is safe to put into AI tools, given customer data and Israeli privacy obligations?
This is a management level orientation, not legal advice, and it marks where the line sits so people stop pasting things they should not. Anything binding on your obligations goes to a lawyer who handles privacy.
What is realistic for a business with no IT person and no budget for an integrator?
More than owners expect and far less than vendors promise. A shared calendar, a single price list and one place where customer information actually lives cost close to nothing and remove most of the daily friction before automation even enters the picture.
Part of the audience is experienced and part is new. Will it work?
Yes. The depth is set in advance on the fitting call, examples are matched to the sector, and the base assumes no prior knowledge. Audience questions give the experienced their room too.
