Consulting for family businesses and for passing the business to the next generation.
The business should go on after you. That is planned in advance.
Handing over a family business is not one moment of signing. It is a series of decisions, preparation and training, and I work on it with you and with the next generation while the business keeps running.
Intro call, 15 to 30 minutes, free
No obligation. We just talk.
The message comes straight to me, and I'm the one who answers it.

You may recognize yourself here
- I have started to think about who will run the business after me.
- The next generation already works in the business, but is not ready to run it yet.
- Everything the business knows is in my head, and none of it is written down.
- I do not know where to start handing over a business, or what limits the handover.

From a course to a business
After I finished a cosmetology course at a leading company, I was confused. I didn't know how to open a business, what to sell from home, or how to bring in clients. Since I reached out to Mobius, everything has changed. We built an organized plan with clear steps and no unnecessary risks. Today I see results, and I'm growing and developing every month.

When I finished a massage course, I imagined a different world. I found out it's a hard field, and financial stability isn't easy to find. When I came to Mobius, something changed. We started an organized process and built a business plan. Without Mobius? I probably would have given up. Today I believe in myself and in my own path.

There to advise, without running the day to day
Passing a family business on as a series of stages rather than one signature: the next generation prepared, the business managed together, a decision point, the handover itself, and the founder staying on as an adviser.
Simplified. A real handover also plans who takes over and when, sets up the business so the next generation can keep it safe, and checks with your lawyer and your accountant what limits the transfer.

Just before you write
Worth knowing who is on the other end, and exactly what happens after you tap the button.
A short hello. No slides.
What actually happens on the call
No surprises. This is how the call goes.
You tell me where the business stands today. Nothing to prepare, no slides, no documents.
We look at the numbers together, and at whatever is bothering you most right now.
I tell you what I would do first, and what I would deliberately leave for later.
You decide whether there is a next step. Nothing continues automatically, and there is no pitch at the end.

Who does what
I work on the business side of the handover: the plan, the order, the training and the decisions. The legal and tax side of transferring ownership stays with your lawyer and your accountant, and I work with them when needed.
Who it fits
- A family business whose founder is starting to plan who will take over.
- A business where the next generation already works and is not ready to run it yet.
- A family company with a board, or one that wants to form a board ahead of the handover.
When is it better to start elsewhere?
If what you need now is order in the daily management and in the team, before any handover.
In that case, start here: Training Managers and Building Your Management Team

I have guided entrepreneurs, small businesses and startups through opening, running and growing a business. I work professionally in finance, marketing, operations and strategy.
And the paperwork, for anyone who wants to see that too.
You work directly with me, and I stay your point of contact throughout the work.
- How long before I see results?
- Not from the first meeting, and not from the first few. First we have to understand where the business really stands, so the effort goes only where it works and nothing that already works gets broken. When measurable, steady results come depends on the business and on the pace of the work. After a first conversation I can tell you what to expect in your field.
- How much of my time will it take?
- A meeting of about an hour, as often as the business needs, and a little more at the start while I learn the business. The rest is carrying out the plan, and that is work you would be doing in your business anyway, not time spent in meetings.
- Do my books have to be in order first?
- No. Paperwork is an important tool, but it is not a condition for starting. We begin from where things stand today and put the papers in order along the way, so the work never waits for them.
- What happens to the numbers I show you?
- Whatever you show me about your business stays between the two of us, exactly as it does for every other client of mine.
- What kinds of businesses do you work with?
- I have worked with self-employed professionals, small businesses and startups, in beauty and wellness, the trades, food, retail, manufacturing, education, hi-tech and real estate investment, in Israel and abroad. Your trade matters less than your stage. A bakery and a software company at the same stage are usually stuck on the same thing.
Questions people have already asked me
When should we start planning the handover?
Before it becomes urgent. A handover planned in advance leaves room to train the next generation and check the limits while the business runs as usual. When you start only because there is no other choice, most decisions are made under pressure. In the first conversation we will see where you stand.
How do you train the next generation?
By working on the business itself: the numbers, the clients, the team and the decisions. The next generation takes responsibility for them step by step, while you are still there. That way they learn the business from the inside, not only by hearing about it.
Can you sit on our board during the handover?
Yes, as part of the consulting. I take a seat only when there is real work in it and directors and officers insurance is in place, never as a name on paper. In a business with no board, it works as board style meetings, with no legal duties and no share in the company.
Do you give legal or tax advice on the handover?
No. The legal and tax side stays with your lawyer and your accountant. I work on the business side, and with them when needed.
Who do you actually work with?
With whoever leads the handover, and with whoever is meant to take over the business. I bring the questions, the order and the numbers, and the decisions stay with you.
How much does it cost?
The first conversation costs nothing and comes with no obligation. We talk about the work itself once we understand the business and what it needs, because no two family businesses are in the same place.
